1 Plasma cannon - low reach, low rate of fire, high energy usage, high damage on both shields and hull, low armor piercing rate. The shell looks like an yellow/orange energy clot. The plasma cannon is a weapon of choice against large vessels.
The "Leaker" isn't a mass-produced figter. It's high cost combined with average speed and low maneuverability makes it hard to use. The hull armor and damage rate balances the situation a little, but not fully. The "Leakers", like any other strike fighter, shouldn't be looked down - in the hands of a skilled player the "Leaker" does a perfect job against large vessels, destroying their shields and allowing bombers to attack the hull, then defending them from AA fire.
